Beginners Guide

Welcome to the Beginners Guide! Here you can learn about battle tactics and how they work! We know that, in the beginning, the high amount of information can confuse you a bit, but don't give up! If you have any doubt, feel free to ask a Leader in our Discord or to leave a comment.

Battling is the most fun part of Flame Warriors. Every battle is full of action and fun! During a battle, we will do a variety of tactics. Below there are some tactics that we will use more often and you should familiarize with them:

When a leader counts down for a tactic to be performed, and says “E9 NOW” you simply just press E then 9 on your computer then you’ll perform the mad face (war faces) emote! The same goes for the rest of the emotes too.

We will also give certain orders where you’ll have to type something in on the chat bar. The Leader will tell you to type in a certain tactic, such as “FOLLOW THE FLAME OF DESTINY”. You would type that in, and once everyone was ready the leader would count down until 3, then everyone would enter and perform the tactic. The same goes any other typed phrase!

We also have a few other unique tactics that often use and refer to under a unique name as you can see below:

Frenzy: bomb or charge the entire room with whatever tactic the leader ordered to do

Waterfall: charge up and down on your screen with whatever tactic the leader ordered to do

Rake: charge side to side on your screen with whatever tactic the leader ordered to do

Blender: charge in circles

Escalator: charge diagonally

Double Escalator: two opposite lines charging diagonally, in a V or X formation

Rainbow: bomb of random emotes

Running Sun: everyone must bunch in the center of the room and, in the leader's command, run in your own diagonal doing the requested tactic

We also have formations, which are simple. If we ask to make a circle, for example, you must circle the room along with the other penguins. There are many other formations, like diagonal lines, an "X", a "+", "L", etc.

Don't stand, sit or bunch on each other in the formation. It is best to stand “shoulder to shoulder” or in a position where you are right next to your fellow troop! This way we can maximize our full power and size during a battle!
